April Currently

What a fail.  I seem to recall during a winter Currently stating that I as going to be kicking this blog's butt in the new year.  Clearly, that was a goal that I have not yet achieved.  However, I think that now I will be able to commit more time to it.  But I'm back in the saddle (on the saddle?) and ready to share new ideas.  So, hot off the presses, here's my April Currently.

I think that most of this Currently is pretty clear.  It's been so hard to focus on school, when really all I can think about is these babies.  I can't even imagine next year when I'll be trying to teach with two tiny babies at home!  Who's done this before, and how did you do it?!

Enjoy your spring weather, and happy early Easter!
xoxo

  1. How neat that I found your blog!! I'm in Richmond, so a close neighbor AND I'm expecting soon, too! I'm only having one baby, though, and it's my second. It's scary at times, but you'll be a great mommy! My advice is to not even worry about what the house looks like, etc. Just basically survive the first month or so and then slowly work your way into some kind of routine. Babies are durable, and we ALL make mistakes! Just laugh it off and keep going! Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy and delivery!

  2. Congrats on becoming a mom! How exciting :) Like Melissa said it is all about survival! The first month will be a blur but, you will get the hang of it. Instinct takes over and you just "know" what to do! Good luck to you

BTW I have always wanted to go visit DC during Cherry Blossom time! Jealous you live there :)

  3. Congrats on becoming a mommy! I have two myself, but they are 4 years apart (wow, twins!) Its amazing how much you feel like you don't know how to do, but then those babies arrive and you just figure it out;-) You will make mistakes, but you will also have great successes, and yes, you will sleep again (in a few years!) Best wishes for those first few months!
I would love to go to the Cherry Blossom festival (we live just south of Baltimore), but I can't stand to fight the crowds! I guess I just need to settle for looking at the pictures;)
